The Multiplier Effect
Studies consistently show that women reinvest up to 90% of their income into their families — on education, nutrition, and healthcare. Empowering a woman creates a cascade of positive outcomes for her children, her household, and her community.
Yet women in rural Rajasthan face formidable barriers: low literacy, early marriage, social restrictions on movement, lack of economic assets, and limited access to markets and financial services.
Our Women Development program tackles these barriers head-on — through skill-building, income generation, legal empowerment, and building women's collectives strong enough to reshape norms.

What We Offer
Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
45 active SHGs across Barmer district, each with 10–15 women. Members pool savings, access micro-credit, and support each other through life challenges.
Skill Training Programs
Vocational training in tailoring, embroidery, beauty & wellness, soap making, candle making, food processing, and phenyl/detergent manufacturing.
Financial Literacy
Workshops on budgeting, savings, bank accounts, insurance, and government schemes — giving women the knowledge to manage and grow their income.
Legal Rights Awareness
Camps on women's legal rights, domestic violence laws, property rights, RTI, and accessing free legal aid — empowering women to stand up for themselves.
Mahila Samman Health Drives
Dedicated women's health camps covering gynaecological check-ups, maternal health, PCOS awareness, mental health, and cancer screening.
Market Linkage Support
We connect women entrepreneurs with retail markets, fair trade buyers, and e-commerce platforms — ensuring their products reach customers at fair prices.
